This is the fourth time we have visited this RV park and it is one of our favorites. The price reflects Passport America applied to the weekly rate. The grounds were immaculate, we saw no debris in the lake, it was clean and yes there were ducks but they posed no problem for us. The office staff were friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi is a "pay as you use" satellite system, $4.95/day or $17.95/week. We did not find the charge excessive and had no problems with it other than it was slow during peak times. The casino was not particularly smokey when we were there and the restaurant provided average food at pertty reasonable prices. We will stay again and recommend it to others.
Poor access roads (full of pot holes). Sites in the interior section are very close, kind of a parking lot with hookups. We were in site 15 on the river,.a shared site with a total of 10 spaces. Most of the spaces were in a line, like you would park at a curb, very tight and a lot of jockeying to get in and out. We had to ask the motorhome in front of us and the truck parked across from us to move in order to get out. Sites are dirt and gravel, mostly dirt. Campers were very pleasant and friendly with the exception of one group who thought we should enjoy his music and screaming kids well after quiet time and that "dogs on leash" didn't apply to him. If you're really into boating, this is a great place for you. Otherwise, there are better places to stay on the river.
Here is an owner that truely understands that how you are treated at check-in sets the tone for your entire stay, be it a week or a night. Couldn't have asked for more! Interacting with guests during "Cowboy Cookout" was a nice touch. Yes it's all gravel, no, there is no shade but it is the desert. Nice clean, safe, well cared for place to stay. Facilities are well cared for, hook-ups in the right place, wi-fi and cable are excellent. We certainly would stay here again.
Our stay here was at the end of a 4 month trip around the country. We've stayed here many times and are never disappointed. The staff treat you like family, the park is always clean, restrooms, showers and laundry are spotless and the cable and w-ifi worked great. It was interesting to note that while many parks in the area had few clients, this park was full. We recommend this park to everyone. (888) 635-4077
This park is in Colorado City. Very well maintained, quiet and very pleasant staff. Laundry and restrooms/showers were very clean. nice store/gift shop. This was our second stay this summer and we would certainly stay again and recommend it.
This is one of the best KOA parks we've seen on our 4 month trip. Super friendly & helpful manager, very clean and well maintained park. Beautiful playground for the kids. All facilities worked great and cable and wifi worked perfectly. Hot breakfast available for a nominal charge if you want it. Quiet and peaceful. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it.
This park is OK, but roads and sites are dirt. Dusty when it's dry and muddy when it's raining. Sites are tight with side by side hookups. That being said, it's still better than most parks in the area. Friendly staff and really nice gift shop where KOA Value Card will get you a discount. WiFi and cable (limited # of stations), worked well. We would stay here again.
Rate shown is the Passport America rate. We stayed here for three weeks and throughly enjoyed our stay. The RV park is extremely clean and well cared for. All personnel were very pleasant and helpful. Wi-Fi and cable worked well as did all other utilities. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others.
Nice park, well cared for. WiFi and cable worked well but cable channels are limited. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. MapQuest directions from Hwy 24 were not even close so watch out for this. We would stay here again and would recommend this park.
Nice park, great service and very good ice cream parlor. Wi-Fi and cable worked well. Spaces were a little tight but were sufficient for a nights stop over. Rate includes Value Card discount. We would stay here again and recommend this park.
It's kind of a dump but OK for an overnight. I wouldn't bring kids here. No office but someone will come to collect your money. Wi-Fi was excellent, laundry machines were clean and easy on and off from highway.
This is truly a lovely park, very well cared for, quiet and serene. We stayed two weeks and were sorry to leave. Very plesant owners who will go the extra mile for you. They have added many new sites but cable has not been installed in new sites yet. We would recommend this park to anyone.
Lovely, quiet park with extremely helpful staff. Wi-Fi and cable worked perfectly, sites were treed and certainly ample. Would recommend to anyone and would stay again when in the area.
Stayed one night on our way to SD. This park is OK for overnight. It is an urban park and there is a train that runs next to it but there was no whistle and in didn't bother us. WI-Fi at the site and cable worked perfectly. Staff was friendly and helpful.
